Today I'm celebrating my blogoversary and I thought I'd make something fun just for the occasion. My special projects are a celebration card and party hat. I made these projects with DCWV designer paper, Trendy Twine - Peppermint Stick twine, My Creative Time - All around sentiment and scalloped and stitched circle dies, Got Flowers - Blue paper flowers, Sheer Ribbon and Buttons.

There's something wonderful about primary colors.

They make me smile!

Isn't this hat super fun?!

I know two little girls who want some of their own,

This Momma better get busy making more.

Now this wouldn't be a celebration without a party favor OR two!!!

CC&CC Challenge #15

Hello my crafty friends ~ It's challenge time again at Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Challenge blog! This week we are showcasing Delicious Doodles images and I am using their Mr & Mrs Owl digi on my card. We want to see shades of brown (coffee) and cream in your cards this week.

Mr and Mrs Owl are sitting on a Swing, Swinging on clouds on this monochromatic card using Creams and Coffee Browns.

My daughter saw that I had an extra set of colored owls and asked if she could also make a card, so I handed her some paper and this is what she created.

I love that she wants to be creative like her Momma. :)

Last day of school 2012

This day is finally here - The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

My girls have grown so much this year.

They were so excited to go to school today but then again this is what happens every morning - They Love School!

We couldn't have had a great year without all the wonderful teachers so I made these cards for them as a Thank You. I used DCWV Grade School paper, Recollections Back to School paper, My Creative Time Stamps and Dies and Trendy Twine!

Well, I have to get these wrapped up and then I'm off to celebrate with my girls!

Super Exciting News!!!

Well, Today Trendy Twine is announcing their design team and I'm super excited to share with you that I have been asked to join for the next term!!!

It's been a long couple weeks keeping this secret and I'm so thrilled that now I get to share it with all of you! I'm honored and humbled to be a part of this wonderful team and am looking forward to all the fun projects and inspiration from the talented ladies I will be joining.

Summer Banner card

Trendy Twine Chocolate Truffle twine and My Creative Time dies.

For my 3D project I decided to make a wreath of Kusudama flowers. I used summer as my inspiration, then created all different sizes of the Kusudama flowers, used a button and Trendy Twine as the center of each flower, untwisting the twine for a new effect.
