ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

CAS Challenge

Monochromatic Theme

This weeks challenge over at Simply Scrapping Crafts is to create a card using only 1 color. I knew I wanted to use this rosette flower I had lying around so my color choice had to be raspberry pink. This challenge was not easy but very fun.

Card Recipe:
Cardstock: DCWV textured,
Heidi Grace Designer pattern paper
Die cuts: Cricut Accent Essentials,
Just Because Cards
Embellishments: Prima & Mulberry paper Flowers,
Buttons and Floss
Ink: CTMH Watermelon, Stamp: SU Birthday
Technique: Folded paper rosettes, Cuttlebug Embossing

The following tutorial is where I learned how to make these flower rosettes.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you join the CAS Challenge this week.
Have a great day!

  2. Thanks Yvonne for sharing the link on making the flower rosettes. What a pretty card! Thanks for commenting on my blog :) . I'd love to get together sometime. Do you have any plans to go to the Scrapbook Expo in SD at the end of the month? And fyi, I signed up for the Copic Marker certification at the end of May in SD - want to do it with me? Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
