ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

National Dessert Day!

Good Morning Blog World!
Welcome to another week at Die Cuttin' Divas and another fun challenge. This week we are celebrating National Dessert Day so what better way to challenge you than to ask that you make something with the theme of Desserts!!! YUMMY!

For my project I used the Cricut cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and my Gypsy, I cut out the Slice of Cake treat box at 10" and then decorated it with coordinating paper pieces and ribbon. I also used My Creative Time's Scalloped and Stitched Circle die set and the You had me at Chocolate stamp set. The card was make to complete the gift set.

I hope my project inspires you to join the challenge at Die Cuttin Diva's. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a GREAT DAY!

  2. I had no idea you made a card to go with that awesome box. I have never made one and I think I should try. Is it easy? Send some tips! Please!

Like the cake creation. Especially like the way you decorated the sides of the cake box. Is that the Martha Stewart Halloween drip edge punch you used? I'm enjoying being a Guest Crafter at Die Cuttin Divas.

  4. Georgiana, Making the cake box is so super easy! the most difficult stage is the scoring of all the folds. After that I just measured the top and sides and cut pieces to fit. The Martha Stewart drippy goo edge punch is perfect for this and other desserts. :) Try it and let me know how it turns out. ~Yvonne
