Even though Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming to a close the fight for a cure is never ending. Don't be afraid, be informed, take care of yourself and your loved ones, do your monthly checks, schedule those mammograms and join the fight for a CURE.

I made these cards for a my BFFs mother who has fought the fight against breast cancer twice and survived.

Pumpkin Spice Muffins

Yummy Weight Watchers Mini Muffins

6 years ago I was going to weight watchers so that I could lose the baby weight from daughter #1 and fit into a bridesmaid dress. Well, I lost the weight and kept going to my meetings because I was almost to my goal weight. With the holidays around the corner the meeting leader gave me this great recipe to replace the need for Pumpkin pie. I LOVE THESE MUFFINS. They are so easy and YUMMY. My kids love them as well and they don't know they are eating something very healthy.

Recipe:

2 boxes Spice cake mix

1 large can Pumpkin pie mix

4 Egg whites

Beat egg whites for 1 minute until they are light and frothy. Add cake mixes and pumpkin and combine. Scoop dough into mini muffin tins and bake at 350* for 17+/- mins. Each mini muffin is 1 point on the WW program. This recipe makes 6 dozen mini muffins.

Midweek Throwdown Challenege - CHRISTMAS

I have the honor and privilege today to be the guest artist on Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps blog for their midweek throwdown Christmas challenge. When asked to design a sample card I decided to challenge myself to make as many Christmas cards as I could using only 4 sheets of 12x12 paper and coordinating card stock. I ended up creating these 8 holiday cards before my creativity ran out; however, I have paper left over for 4 or 5 more.

There is no one like YOU!

My Mother in Law was over the other day to watch my kiddos so I could attended a school meeting and while she was here we created this card. The request was to make an 8 1/2" x 11" card that could be put into a scrapbook for my Mother in Laws dear friend.

We started with the colors, added coordinating flowers, a few rhinstones, some ribbon, a meaningful sentiment and a Rooster, of course. (If you know my Mother in Law you'll understand) It was fun crafting with my Mother in Law and it's something I don't get to do very often. Another day will have to be planned in the near future.

For Halloween, I bought cute pencils at Target for my girls to give to their classmates but didn't really want them just handing out a plain pencil. So I searched the craft world for something new and found these adorable Pencil/Lollipop holders and quickly started making them.
