ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

First Day of School!

Today my girls went back to school and with them I decided to send along gifts and treats! Gifts for the teachers, aids and office staff and treats for my girls. :) I used DCWV grade school paper stack, My Creative Time's Stamps and Dies, my Cricut and Peachy Keen Face stamps.

My girls will find these fun cards in their snack bags at recess along with a couple treats.

These are corner bookmarks I made for the girls homeroom teachers and their aids. I bundled them together in a pencil box with a tall bookmark, pens, pencils a highlighter and peppermints.

For the office staff, PE & Computer teachers and the Librarian, I made these happy apple cards. Inside they'll find a Ghirardelli dark chocolate square with caramel.

I also gave the office staff post it note holders.

Lots of goodies that hopefully brought a smile to some amazing teachers, staff and the best little girls I know!!! I can't wait to pick up them up and see how their first day went! Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day too.

3x3 Note Card Gift Set

Especially For YOU!

Today, my children, my twin sister and I celebrated the birthday of our friends' Mom. She is very special to us so much so that my children even call her Grandma. So for her birthday I decided to make her a set of 3" x 3" note cards she could use for the new school year. Inspired by My Creative Time's new stamps set: "SMALL TALK" I gathered my supplies and went to work. I also used the stamp set: "My Favorite Sayings" from My Creative Time.

When creating this card set I decided I wanted to use the frame stamp directly onto the card base; however, I knew I wanted to flip the frame 90 degrees on each design so that the sentiment would be showcased uniquely on each card.

Here is the finished set of 8 cards and an Adorable gift box to hold them.

I also made her this super cute flower that she could wear as a pin, clip or just have in her creative space.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM ~ I hope you had a very special day!

And thank you all for stopping by I hope your day is a special one too!

It's a Round Up!

A Celebration Cowgirl Style!

I LOVE celebrating my children's birthdays!!! Doing my very best to provide everything they want, I always try to make everything by hand on a budget I can live with. So when my youngest daughter wanted a Pink Cowgirl party for her 6th birthday I couldn't help but get creative right away! For her invitation I decided to make a barn postcard - this allows me to still get creative on the front but not have a lot of bulk in the envelope. I grabbed my gypsy and started designing... Using Create a Critter and Old West Cricut Cartridges I was able to come up with the following Card.

A2 size card - front

The little horse is popped up to add dimension

One thing I love to add is wording that matches the theme of the party we are hosting. This year the invitation reads:

You're WANTED,
So get your boots on and get into gear,
We're having a round up to celebrate Carly's 6th year!

Saturday Sept 3rd at High Noon
We'll be havin' Rodeo games and a Western BBQ

Location is our Ponderosa
Yeah or Neighs to the Sheriff
** Bring your suits for a dip in the watering hole**

I think it's a fun way to personalize the invitation and get all the guests in the mood for the party. Well I have a lot more party planning to do before Sept 3rd but be on the look out for more party ideas for this Cowgirl Round up. :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
