ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

Hero Cards

Thank you!

Besides making cards for Operation Write Home for our Heroes to send to their loved ones, I am also making cards for our Heroes. These cards are for my family and friends so that they can write a thank you note for one of our Heroes to read while deployed overseas.

Thanksgiving already???

Fall is right around the corner!

No I'm not getting ready for Thanksgiving. I'm a firm believer in waiting for the actual month of the holiday to start celebrating it!!! HOWEVER, this is an exception to the rule for some very special people. I am making these seasonal cards for Operation Write Home - an organization that sends handmade cards to our deployed HEROES so that they can send messages to their loved ones at home. I am honored to be able to make these cards for them and hope to have an entire box filled for before the Halloween/Thanksgiving deadline.

Cards for Fall must be sent to the OWH shippers by September 20th so that our HEROES can receive them and mail them out before the actual holidays.

Who wants to join me in making cards for our HEROES???

Another Deal!

Do you have $11 + tax?

This is what I spent for all of the items pictured here. Crafting doesn't have to be expensive. If you have time, heck if you don't and are just making a quick trip to the store, go through the clearance aisle. You never know what steals you'll find.

The paper pack of 24 pages was $1.99 reg $12.99, the other paper pack of 36 was $3.99 reg $9.99. Now this paper is double sided pattern card stock - Such a deal! The stickers were $.49 each Reg $1.99. And Last but not least the tweezers were $3.99 but I had a 40% off coupon so I saved $1.60.

So what would have cost me $37 +tax was only $11!

Ni-Hao Kai Lan Birthday invitations

My Daughters Birthday Invitations
I have spent the last 3 days measuring, cutting, using my Cricut and glueing these invitations together so that I could have them ready to mail out this week. I only need to address the envelopes and then the party planning begins.

All these little pieces of paper turn into 22 invitations!
