Another Christmas Tag

Hello crafty friends!  Tis the season for homemade gifts, treats, cards and tags and today I have some inspiration for you. I created this tag for Trendy Twine using their Candy Cane and Holly Berry Christmas twines. (they are on sale right now!!!)

My dressed up window tag is created using a Cricut window cut, designer papers, Trendy Twine, a K&Company "Merry Christmas" sticker, MS branch punch, rhinestones, white ribbon, a button and foam tape.

I just love how this tag turned out. Aren't those sprigs of greenery fun?
For the garland I used Martha Stewarts Branch punch and added red rhinestones for the berries.

I cut the window in layers, using the background tree paper as the outside scene and dimensional foam tape to pop the white window frame up. I love the depth this tag has and you could use almost any paper to create this effect.

I hope you enjoyed my tag and were inspired to create some of your own. If you make some we'd love to see them entered in the Trendy Twine monthly challenge!
If you need some of this fun twine it's on sale HERE at Annies paper boutique, the official home of Trendy Twine!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty day!

Trendy Twine Design Team Post - Hey there Pumpkin!

Well, I was going to say that it's starting to feel like fall around here but now that we're having a heat wave again, not so much. I wish Mother Nature would just make up her mind!

It might not feel like Fall outside but it sure does look like it here in my craft room. Today, I'm sharing with you a fun favor box I came across while browsing pinterest. This hexagon box was something I hadn't seen before and knew right away it would make a great pumpkin.

Isn't it so fun?
I love how it turned out and can't wait to make a few more for our Thanksgiving table.

Recipe:
Designer papers
Spellbinders die
(I adjusted the measurements ever so slightly from CM to Inches)

Trendy Twine Design Tuesday - No Tricks, Just TREATS!

Hello everyone! Can you believe that today is OCTOBER 30th!!! Where has the year gone? My kids were just starting school a couple weeks ago and now I'm already seeing Christmas commercials.
But lets not get into that right now - Lets talk CANDY!
And by that I mean the 70 treats I need to make for my 3 childrens' classmates and 10 teachers too. In order to tackle this HUGE project I decided it would be fun for me to break everything into groups and make something different for each child and their teachers.  I hope you enjoy...

These Bubblegun treat boxes from My Creative Time are filled with Chocolate and perfect for the teachers. I use Orange Licorice Trendy Twine on organza ribbons and finished the box off with a fun Witch.

Aren't these Ghosts adorable!? They come from a TPC Studio clear stamp value pack I picked up last year after Halloween. I stamped them onto vellum and attached them to a vellum sour cream container I filled with Candy Corn and tied with Midnight Trendy Twine. I finished them off with a ghostly sentiment from My Creative Time's Halloween stamps
MMMmmmmm The Preschool teachers are going to LOVE these.

Now onto the kids treats, it's all about them right?
My girls will be giving out these fun witch hat lollipop holders I found on SVGCuts. To them I added an Orange Licorice Trendy Twine bow, a My Creative Time "BOO" stamp on a tag and embellished the hat with an orange paper flower & rhinestone. I just loved how they turned out.

These treats I believe will be a huge hit with all the 3-5 year olds in my son's preschool class. These Super cool halloween straws are decorated with pumpkins, bats and skulls and I slipped them into pretzel bags and topped them with a funny Peachy Keen faced monster, limited release Grape Limeade Trendy Twine and a My Creative Time Halloween sentiment.

So that's 4 down and only 76 more to go... Who wants to help me???
It's ok - I'll get it all done, I've got 3 little helpers who I'm sure would be thrilled to get their little hands on Glue, Rhinestones and Stamps but I draw the line at my Trendy Twine.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog - It's always fun to be designing for Trendy Twine!
Don't forget, Today is the last day to enter the Trendy Twine October  - Boo! To Cute to Spook Challenge so make something fantastic and post it! You could win some yummy twine too.

Have a great Halloween!

Notes

Hello my crafty friends! Yvonne here with another Trendy Twine - Chocolate Sprinkles twine project for you. I absolutely love this color combo. The blue is so soft and the chocolate brown, Yummy!

My project starts with a notebook from the Dollar Tree. (Seriously one of my favorite stores for crafty goodness) I then added some designer paper to the cover, edged the top and bottom with scraps of paper and used an edge punch to add some detail.  Tied it up with a bow and then added my scalloped twine NOTES label.

Doesn't that twine look just amazing.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my project and that maybe it inspired you enough to join us for the Trendy Twine September Challenge. If you need some of this fantastic twine you still have time to get it on sale here!

For You... Trendy Twine DT post

Hello my Crafty Friends and welcome to another design team post for Trendy Twine! Have you seen all the amazing projects that have been posted this week by all the designers. We are showcasing Krazy for Kraft twine and I'm blown away at the creativity that is on the TT blog.

Today my project is all about gifting bottled items. Sometimes it's just easier to buy a few bottles of soap, lotion, even wine, beer or the hard stuff, then hand them out as gifts. Well, these fun bottle sleeves or tags are a great way to make the gift feel special without having to throw it in a bag or wrap it strangely with wrapping paper.

Project Recipe:
My Creative Time: Lollipop Holder die,
Stitched and Scalloped circle dies and stamp set
Martha Stewart tag punch
Cricut Cuttlebug embossing folder
Paper Crimper and a white button

To make this bottle sleeve I first cut out the Lollipop holder and embossed it. I then cut out a circle big enough to go over the bottle top and created the layers for the front. I added a tiny tag that says "For You", a button and some twine and this gift is ready to go.

I hope you have a change to stop by Trendy Twines blog to join in on our monthly challenge, get inspired and enter to win some amazing twine!

Have a great day,
Yvonne
