ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

Thinking of you...

Hello my creative friends and welcome to the Trendy Twine and Little Scraps of Heaven Design event.  Today on my project I'll be featuring Trendy Twines' Sky twine and an SVG Turtle cut file from Little Scraps of Heaven.

The card I created stands at 9 1/4" tall and is 4"wide and I chose this size so that I could use the turtle SVG file that looks like he's dancing in the rain with his umbrella. Any one who knows me well knows I LOVE TURTLES so this file had my name written all over it.

Isn't he adorable with his twine covered umbrella!

I had a lot of fun making this card and using the twine with the SVG file.
If you'd like to buy some of the twine you can get it HERE
And if you would like to see the Shop over at Little Scraps of Heaven go HERE.

Please stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see what the other design team members have created for you and THANK YOU for stopping by my blog and I hope you have a fantastic day.

Color Your World!

Welcome friends! I hope you all are having a fantastic day!
Today is my day over at Trendy Twine and I decided to share with you my take on our Get Krafty Monthly Challenge.

Now all you have to do to enter our challenge is create a project using Trendy Twine and the color Kraft. SIMPLE! Use any color you want, Kraft goes with everything!

Which leads me to my project:
"Life is about
Using the
WHOLE box
of Crayons"

I just love this quote. The stamp is from The Alley Way Stamps and can be found HERE. And Don't you think the Spellbinders frame turned out amazing?! I wrapped Trendy Twine's, Twisted Teal around and around and around the frame until it was completely covered, then placed the Kraft embossed insert in the middle of it. The flowers are from the Got Flowers line and matched the twine perfectly.

Now for some kid friendly crafts:

I used the same stamp and more Trendy Twine with Shrinky Dinks to create this adorable end of the year gift idea for the preschoolers in my son's class. Wouldn't you just love to receive such an adorable box of Crayons with that inspirational quote.

Ok - Maybe the kids won't be able to read the quote but I'm sure it will remind that childs parents that every color should be explored over the summer, Kindergarten is right around the corner!

The twine I used is on sale all month long so run right over and get some HERE.

And if you want to enter the monthly challenge do that HERE.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my projects, I had a blast creating them for you.
Until next time, Keep Crafting.

Something Wonderful!

Welcome to Trendy Twines new Twist release and The Alley Way Stamps event.
I was asked to pair these two fantastic products together into a project that would showcase not only the twine but the stamps too. I had so much fun tapping into my inner child and playing with these new products.

First up is Trendy Twines newest Twist:

A really bright and fun Pink and Blue twist perfect for Spring, Babies, Summer and anything Girly!

The next Product I used is this stamp set from The Alley Way Stamps

An adorable font and wonderful sentiments make up this stamps set which is perfect for an encouraging card or gift.

Like I said before I tapped into my inner child and busted out the Shrinky Dinks from days of old to help create my project. Well, not really days of old, but remember how fun they were way back when? Michaels craft stores has all kinds of these fun sheets to play with and I just knew it would be perfect for my project. So without further ado here it is!

I used the twine to create a flower around the Lollipop holders scalloped circle then created a tag out of the Shrinky Dink material for the sentiment and finished it off with a twine bow. I love the embossing on the Lollipop holder and the netting that holds 2 pink and blue star lollys.

The stamp fit perfectly on the tag and when it shrank I was worried you wouldn't be able to read it but I think it looks amazing!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these new products and how I used them in my project today. To see more inspiration using these items stop by the Trendy Twine and The Alley Way Stamps blogs!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Additional products used from My Creative Time:
Lollipop holder die, Scalloped and stitched circle dies and Stitched XL label die.
