ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

And the mini packs are available for $3.95 this weekend - After Sunday they will be available at their regular price. So run over to the store HERE and BUY yours NOW! Don't worry - I'll wait but come back because you haven't seen my project yet!!!

So now that you stopped by the store and purchased your own Trendy Twine here's a fun project you can make using these colors or any of the over 40 twines we have.

I created a kleenex box cover. This is a large kleenex box measuring 3 1/2"H x 4 3/4"D x 9"W. Isn't it super cute!?! Well, My girls think its fabulous and that's good enough for me.
Want to make one?

To make this project you will need to cut out 4 side pieces. 2- 3 1/2"H x 5 1/4"W and 2- 3 1/2"H x 9 1/2"W. After measuring and cutting these pieces you can dry emboss them and then score on 1 side only at a 1/2". This will create a tab for you to connect these pieces together to form the boxes foundation. The lid of the box measures 6 3/4"D x 11"W - Score at 1" on all sides and cut one side of each corner to create a tab so it can be folded to create the box top. Once you've scored the sides you can then cut a center opening that measures 2" x 6 3/4"- this should cover the original opening of most kleenex boxes. Cut this out with a Die cutting machine, with a spellbinder or trace the opening and cut out by hand. Once the side pieces have been assembled you can adhere them to the inside of the lid and then embellish the box with whatever you want.

I used the Pink Licorice twine and embossed the sides with a Zebra embossing folder to match the pink paper and silk flower. What do you think? Easy right?
If you decide to make one please share your creation with me on my Facebook page HERE.
