ME? Well, My name is Yvonne and I am a SAHM to FOUR beautiful, energetic, wild, lovable, crazy and amazing children. I am married to my best friend and the Love of my life. And I have a creative side that needed an outlet so I started this blog to share my creations with all of you. One day my oldest daughter, all of 6 years old, looked at me while I was crafting and said "you sure are One Creative Momma" and the name for my blog was born.

Summer Time!

Hello Crafty Friends! today I would like to share with you my entry for the My Pink Stamper design team. Robyn has openings for her upcoming 2011 2 Term My Pink Stamper Design Team! All you need to do is add a project for this challenge by TODAY, July 20 11:59 pm CST to her Blog HERE. She will be choosing a handful of Bloggers/Crafters to serve 6 months on her upcoming team!

Here are the requirements....
*You will need to have a blog that you regularly post on for at least 3 months.
*You cannot already be serving on a DT that has product that is a conflict of interest (most DTs are just fine as long as they do not sell product that is similar to My Pink Stamper Original Cricut Stamps idea)
*Your project must be made just for this challenge
*Post a pic on your blog with a full recipe along with what the challenge is about
*This needs to be a new project that you make just for this challenge
*Only one entry per person, please
*You do not need to be a professional but you must have a love for the craft! :)
Challenge: Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors......
Orange
Turquoise
Green
Brown
(other optional color of your choice)

Here is the project I created especially for this Design Team Challenge!

A Summer Teepee Card

Two Seasons

I saw this challenge a few weeks ago and thought I'd give it a try. Making a card that was identical in it's design but different in color to see if I could create the feeling of a season. My first card is a Spring time card, created with Purples and Greens and the second card is for Fall using Rust, Orange and Cream colors.

Let me know what you think... Do they feel like the season I created them for?
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Birthday Cards!

What a Month!

June and the beginning of July are full of birthday for our family.  So I've been very busy making masculine and feminine cards.

If anyone has a trick for drying the SU Whisper White ink - I would appreciate it. I let my banner sentiment dry overnight and it was still wet the next day!!!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a fantastic day!

Spring Bloghop

Operation Write Home
Bunny Hop Bloghop!

Hello Everyone & Welcome to Operation Write Homes' Bunny Hop Bloghop! I'm super excited to be participating and I know you'll have fun along the way.  This isn't the first stop so if you are just joining us you'll want to go back to the beginning at OWH Stars and Stamps Blog because you do not want to miss out on any of the FUN!

If you've arrived here from the very talented Nancy at Scrap Happens, then you are certainly heading in the right direction! I love her bright and Cherry card! :) Oh and I'm jealous that she's at Hobby Lobby today - we don't have them here in California.

For the Bloghop, we were asked to make a Spring card. I took this literally and you can see exactly why in my video. I hope you join us in making Spring themed cards for OWH. The Easter deadline is March 18th with Mother's Day following right behind on March 31st. Please make sure your cards arrive by these deadlines so that they can be mailed promptly to our troops. I also invite you to visit the Hero Blog and read the many entries there from Heroes far away.  They really do appreciate all the love and care put into each card.

Scrapbook Birthday Page

There is no one like YOU!

My Mother in Law was over the other day to watch my kiddos so I could attended a school meeting and while she was here we created this card. The request was to make an 8 1/2" x 11" card that could be put into a scrapbook for my Mother in Laws dear friend.
We started with the colors, added coordinating flowers, a few rhinstones, some ribbon, a meaningful sentiment and a Rooster, of course. (If you know my Mother in Law you'll understand) It was fun crafting with my Mother in Law and it's something I don't get to do very often. Another day will have to be planned in the near future.

A Simple THANK YOU!

Thank you notes

Do you always send out Thank you cards when good things come your way?

My family recently received a wonderful gift, A very dear friend of our family signed us into Disneyland and California Adventure for my daughters 5th birthday. There was no way we could have afforded to take our family into both parks and enjoy the food as well as treat the girls to a doll at the end of the night. So this one act was huge in our books.

When the arrangements were made and up until the moment we walked through the gates I must have said thank you a hundred times; however, I didn't think it was enough. So a couples days after our FANTASTIC day I decided to make a card for our Dear Friends. The card is bright and cheerful just like our mood from spending the day at the Happiest Place On Earth and inside I sent a gift card for dinner and a movie. Hopefully they can have a family night together, one as wonderful as the day they gave us.

I quickly sent the card off in the mail so that they would receive it before the weekend but forgot to take a picture of the finished product. So I've made duplicates to match the original for the next time good fortune comes our way and a thank you is required.
